We are so excited to share that COSMIC Symphony has been selected to benefit from the Giant Food Community Bag Program which makes it easy for shoppers to support their communities and environment by buying durable, reusable shopping bags. Donations from this program support groups focused on education, civic, health & wellness, hunger relief and military/veterans organizations.

For the month of January, whenever a $2.50 reusable Community bag is purchased at Giant Food in First Colony Shopping Center, $1 will be donated to COSMIC Symphony.  This is a great way to broaden awareness and help our cause.

The Community Bag Program is designed to impact as many local nonprofits as possible in the communities we serve. The administration fee goes toward our efforts to run the programs seamlessly while optimizing the amount raised for each selected organization by covering our costs to:

• Perform exhaustive research and vetting of qualifying organizations.
• Conduct six weeks of outreach to each month’s benefiting nonprofits with information about their participation as well as links to tools and campaign suggestions.
• Design of marketing tools, messaging, and community announcements to help nonprofits promote the program to their supporters.
• Manage donations and distribute checks monthly.

Donation checks are sent directly to selected nonprofits in the Community Bag Program approximately 10-12 weeks after their selected month ends.
